Em dia de Halloween, "uma música para o fim de semana" reflecte o seu espírito.
Especialmente porque a música escolhida é um dos temas e personagens mais fascinantes de um dos filmes mais importantes da minha vida.

Zombies??? Não. Nem tão pouco múmias, vampiros, bruxas, fantasmas ou até lobisomens.
A minha personagem preferida de Halloween é um esqueleto.
Um esqueleto simpático, inteligente, curioso, que sabe cantar, tem um cão, o Zero e alguém que se preocupa e nutro por ele um amor escondido, a Sally.
Ele vive na cidade do Halloween e um dia desastradamente pensou que podia recriar o Natal na sua própria cidade, porque se fartou de ser e pertencer ao Halloween. E quando isso acontece...

Este esqueleto não assusta, mas para mim é ele que por excelência simboliza o Halloween. Qual o nome do esqueleto? Jack Skellington ou também conhecido por Pumpkin King.

Jack Skellington surge no filme de 1993 - O Estranho Mundo de Jack - realizado por Henry Selick, produzido e escrito por Tim Burton.
Este filme tem vinte e um anos e passado todo este tempo continua a fascinar-me da mesma maneira que quando o vi pela primeira vez.

Danny Elfman é o compositor e o autor da extraordinária letra This is Halloween. A letra é cantada pelos diversos personagens que habitam a cidade de Halloween.
